Lockdown Routine #10DaysOfBlogging

Hey guys! It’s super exciting to be here again, thank you so much for staying with me on my #10DaysOfBlogging journey. You guys are amazing!

So, how has the lockdown been for you guys? I understand it’s not really much of a lockdown anymore, but my brain can’t seem to process it still cause I haven’t really stepped out since it got eased. I think I might have gotten so used to staying at home, that I don’t even bother to go anywhere.

Well, one of the things that has helped me greatly these past few weeks is my routine. Having a routine has helped me stay productive most of the time, and though some activities on some days may be subject to change depending on my mood, or even the weather, I still try to follow them.

So here’s my lockdown routine;

Sunday: Sundays are actually my best days of the lockdown week cause it’s self-care Sunday. After watching online church services, or oversleeping if the weather is favourable, I listen to good music as I exfoliate, use my face scrub and feel like a baby girl throughout the day๐Ÿ˜‹

Monday: Update my social media accounts. When I mean update, I mean I try to reply all pending messages on my Whatsapp, Twitter, Telegram, and even LinkedIn. I admit this is still a work in progress, but I’m getting there๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

Tuesday: I just chill, and attend to my meetings. I also try to catch up on articles, posts, and all of that good stuff.

Wednesday: It’s mini self-care day! All I do actually is use my Beauty Formula Activated Charcoal Clay Mask (Thank you Eyitayo/Joy๐Ÿ˜…) and renew some of that baby girl magic.

Thursday: I try to optimize my LinkedIn profile, you can check it out here. Then, I started an online course recently, so even if I don’t have time for it for the entire week (I say this a lot๐Ÿ˜‚), I try to catch up on it on Thursdays.

Friday: TGIF! Slowly easing into the weekend for me means movie time! I usually try to catch up on the movies I might have downloaded during the week, or the ones I already have (you guys should actually check out gophie.cam, it’s literally the best site to download free movies without having to bump into ads and all of that๐Ÿ‘Œ). When I say catch up on the movies, most times I just end up watching two or three๐Ÿ˜

Saturday: Whew, it’s the weekend finally! On Saturdays, I just like to catch up on my sleep, because I’m usually up early on weekdays (if you don’t know by now that I absolutely love sleeping, you’d be forgiven once you check this out). I could also watch a movie, but the chances of me sleeping 10 minutes into the movie are high.

Note that I work remotely on weekdays, and my exercise routine isn’t constant like that, as well as my writing schedule, so they’re all not included in the above routine.

So yeah, that’s what my typical lockdown week looks like! Do you have a routine you follow? Let me know all about it! And if you don’t have a routine, I also want to hear about it!

See you guys soon โคโค

๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค— I read most times – school books though but this week hasn’t been so much of that but I’m trying to catch up so that I don’t have to shift the workload into that of the coming week.

Oh God knows I need to work on that replying of messages stuff๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I hardly, and they are piling up by the day but I don’t seem to care๐Ÿ’”

Well it’s necessary it be done. I don’t want to be caught unawares by the time school resumes. It is so not gonna be funny

I have not developed the kind of discipline that would allow me to have a “weekly routine.” Kudos girl for pulling it off.
Also, gophie.cam is a gem!

I legit write my plans for every day and it mainly involves reading/learning something, contacting people, skin care and alottttt more . So yes, I have a routine and I love that you have one too… It just makes everything easier๐Ÿ’•
